I love a good cosmo, especially if it's made with all natural ingredients. I like just a taste of the orange liquor, a splash of cranberry, and fresh squeezed citrus.
Most bars use Triple Sec instead of Cointreau, since it is less expensive. There are some moderately priced naturally flavored triple sec available, such as Marie Brizard, and Stirrings, just to name a few. We like the Marie Brizard or Cointreau at our house.
The main keys to making a great cosmo are: using a good quality orange liquor, and using fresh squeezed citrus juice.
We hope you enjoy the cosmo!
